New Zealand apology to Pacific Islanders

New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, has apologised for police raids in the 1970s which specifically targeted Pacific Islanders. Dr Karanina Sumeo from New Zealand’s Human Rights Commission says today’s an important day – but that the Pacific community would like the government to do more for Pacific Islanders who contribute to #NewZealand‘s economy.
